Bulgaria's Dimitrov Climbs to Record-High ATP Ranking

Grigor Dimitrov, Bulgaria's top tennis player,has moved to No 33 in the ATP Ranking which is his all time best.

This is also the highest position a Bulgarian male player has ever had.

Dimitrov, who is seen as one of the brightest young talents in men's tennis, reached the the semifinals of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam last week.

He was defeated by world No 7 Juan Martin Del Potro.

Dimitrov reached his first ATP final earlier this year, in Brisbane, Australia, where he lost to Andy Murray in straight sets.
