Bulgaria's Sopharma Imoti Invests EUR 50 M in Business Complex

altBulgaria’s Sopharma Imoti plans to invest EUR 50 M in an energy-efficient business complex, which is scheduled to be completed in April 2011, the company announced.

“Sopharma Business Towers will include office and retail property and will be located in downtown Sofia,” Sopharma Imoti chief executive director Boris Borisov said at a news conference on Tuesday.

The complex will provide 24,000 square meters of offices, 98000 retail units and parking lots. The company director refused to disclose the rental levels, saying only that they are “a bit more than the average prices”.

Borisov paid special attention to the energy efficiency of the project, which will feature among other things the so-called “green roof”, which will be completely covered with vegetation and will serve as a filter to bring down temperatures in the summer and keep out the cold in the winter.
