US Rockefeller buys Retail Park Plovdiv for 20M euro

US real estate specialist Rockefeller Group has acquired a retail warehouse park in Bulgaria's second largest city of Plovdiv in a 20 million euro deal.

The transaction was carried out by the group's UK-based unit Europa Capital, which is in charge of Rockefeller's European investments, the fund manager said in a statement on its website.

Retail Park Plovdiv, which has an area of 25 000 sq m, was bought from Europe-oriented real estate investment company Landmark Property Management.

The retail park will be managed by Alfa Property Management, part of Bulgarian industrial and financial group Alfa Finance Holding, which is in turn majority-owned by Dnevnik daily and Capital weekly publisher Ivo Prokopiev.
