1 / 3

The cave Bezdanniyat pchelin / Bottomless bee-garden in English/ is situated between the village of Glozhene and town of Yablanitsa, about 6 km north-east from the town near village of Nanovitsa. The regional city of Lovech is about 75 km away from the cave, the capital Sofia- 90 km away, about 35 km to Botevgrad and 17 km from town of Lukovit. The highway Hemus Sofia-Varna passes by about 10 km away from the site.

Bezdanniya pchelin was found in 1895. The cave is remarkable because of its enormous entrance and its total depth of 105 m which makes it one of the deepest caves in Bulgaria. The region surrounding "Bee-garden" is not woody and reveals splendid panoramic view.
The cave was named Bottomless bee-garden because there were several unsuccessful atemps for determination of the depth.
The cave is connected with lots of legents as well dated back from times of the Ottoman rule.

To reach to the cave, you should pass by a marked eco-path that starts in town of Yablanitsa and reaches to the cave Sueva dupka.
