Basilica Sveta Sofia - Sofia city

The Early Christian basilica Sveta Sofia is an active Orthodox church in the center of Sofia city. The church was probably built in the early VI century on the ruins of early Christian tombs from II - IV century and the ruins of two earlier churches from IV-V century. Central Balkan National Park

Central Balkan National Park is one of the most preferred regions for pedestrian tourism in Bulgaria. It spreads over the highest parts of the Balkan Mountains. It is the second biggest park from the three national parks in the country and one of the biggest protected territories in Europe. It was declared national park in the year of 1991 with the main purpose of preserving the amazing nature, traditions and means of living of the Middle Balkan Mountains.

Chuprene Biosphere Reserve

The reserve is one of the largest biosphere reserves in Bulgaria. It is established in 1973 to preserve the northern coniferous forests of Bulgaria. In 1977 it was included in the list of biosphere reserves under the program "Man and Biosphere".

Demir Baba Teke

This ancient place is near the town of Isperih in North-East Bulgaria, close to the Danube river. It is part of the Sboryanovo Archaeological Reserve that groups several important sites in the region, one of which is the famous Sveshtari Thracian Tomb -- an UNESCO protected monument (one of the nine in Bulgaria)
