The cave is an imposing crater with depth more than 35 m, situated among a dense forest. The precipice's total depth is 68 m. Draganchovitsa has three entrances and it makes an impression with the rock string surrounding the precipice as well as the Large hall with its strange forms.
Archaeological excavations were made in 1924 and objects from the Copper Age were found.
The name of the cave comes from a legent for a beautiful girl named Dragana who was turned into stone by a dragon- in accordance with the story her stone figure still stands at the bottom of the cave.

The cave can be reached as follows: the road passes by not far from Glozhene village and leads to town of Yablanitsa. In the middle there is a crossing. Here was made an original place for parking where the visitors can park their vehicles. After that the tourists should continue by foot upon a marked path.
