Bacho Kiro cave

Bacho Kiro cave in situated 300 m away from Dryanovo Monastery, 335 meters above the sea level. Nearby passes Dryanovo River and River Andaka. It is located 5 km away from Dryanovo, about 15 km from Tryavna, about 21 km from Gabrovo and 30 km from the old capital Veliko Tarnovo
  
It consists of four-storey maze with galleries and branches with a total length of 3600 m. It has a variety of limestone formations - stalagmites, stalactites, stalagmites, columns and curtains. Inside it is tremendously beautiful and intriguing rock formations that have received designations such as Rain Hall, Stone Flower, Poplars, Lake of happiness, Concert Hall, the Cave ear, Purgatory, the Throne and others. Here were found are tools found traces of human presence dating from the Stone Age. There are blades and knives, and the presence of people speaking out traces of homes and hearths. 
  
Bacho Kiro cave is the first in the country. It was discovered in 1938, and in 1962 was declared a landmark. It is served by tour guides and is open for visits throughout the year.
