Polski izvor is a village in Southeast Bulgaria. It is situated in Kameno municipality, Burgas region.
It is about 15 km southwest of the town of Burgas, 15 km of the town of Kameno and 14 km northeast of the town of Sredets.
The village is situated in the Burgas hollow and in proximity is the flow of Aitoska river. Its altitude is between 20 and 45 m. The area falls within a zone with continental climate. Typical for it are the prolonged summer that is with mild weather and the amount of precipitation is little.
The main water in the municipality and the rivers of the rivers Aitoska, Rusokastrenska and Chekarliiska. The small dams and water sources in the area are 27.
The village is with electricity and water systems. There is phone cabling, and all mobile operators have coverage, there are working community center, library, post office, church, stores and pub. Regular bus transportation connects it to the other settlements in the municipality. The nearest schools and medical centers are in the town of Sredets. Here there are properties of many English families and Russian, too. Most of the houses are inhabited in the summer for relaxation.
The area is with excellent conditions for practicing of sea, eco, wine, historical and cultural tourism. The proximity to the Black sea gives very good opportunities for relaxation away from the crowds and busy resorts.
The many dams in the area are paramount for the development of fishing tourism.
