Dolna lipnitsa is a village situated in Pavlikeni Municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region.
It is located 40 km north-west from town of Veliko Tarnovo, 17 km north-east from town of Pavlikeni, 15 km east from town of Polski trambesh and 37 km away from town of Byala.
Its population is approximately 700 people.
The climate characterizes with warm, hot summer and cold winter.
In close proximity to the village is located a dam, suitable for fishing, hunting and sun-baths.
Dolna lipnitsa is with well-developed infrastructure. It comprises food shops, cafes, public houses, a church, a petrol station, a medical centre (a doctor and a dentist), and a kindergarten. Bus station with regular transportation to the neighbouring villages and towns.
The village does not comprise hotels and family guest houses. The visitors may see one of the most beautiful and old churches in the region. Other landmarks are the Monument of the soldiers who died for Bulgaria's liberation and union and the piece of ordinance from the First World War.
Nearby is 'Momina mogila' land ('Maid hill' in English) which was inhabited by the Thracians and was used by the military services during the First World War.
Town of Polski trambesh is famous with its healing mineral springs.
The tourists may visit the community centre in village of Vishovgrad. The centre comprises a museum collection dedicated to the regional style of living, culture and agriculture.
Fair takes place every year in Dolna lipnitsa on 24 May.
