Iliya is a village in Western Bulgaria. It is part of Nevestino Municipality, District of Kyustendil.
It stands about 40 km south-east of the town of Kyustendil and about 25 km south of the village of Nevestino.
There is regular bus transportation.
The relief is mid-mountainous, with altitude about 820 m.
The climate in the region is continental, characterized with mild winters and warm and dry summers.
The village population is about 70 residents
The infrastructure of Iliya includes partly asphalted and lighted streets, electrical and water-supply systems and telephone lines.
Medical care to the village residents is provided by GP visiting the village.
The closest health care center, kindergarten and primary school are in the village of Nevestino. The closest hospital and high schools are in t district town of Kyustendil.
Close to the village runs Turskata River, offering conditions for walks in the nature and recreation.
Close to the settlement is Radina cave, and in the and in the southeastern shares of Osogovo Mountain is Golyamata cave, which in the 70s of last century has been studied in detail.
Ilia is in secluded mountainous area offering excellent opportunities for hunting and hiking.
