Belanitsa is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Radomir municipality, Pernik region.
It is 8 km south of the town of Radomir and 21 km in the same direction from the town of Pernik. The village of Izvor is 8 km southeast. The capital Sofia is 48 km northeast.
It is located in the Radomir hollow and its altitude is 684 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized by severe snowy winter and cool summer. The fall is short, rainy and foggy. The spring is cool and does not last long either.
Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements. To the neighboring villages of Priboi (4 km) and Kosharite (2 km) there is railway transportation.
The permanent population is about 18 people.
The nearest schools and kindergartens are in Radomir and in Izvor there is medical center. Store you can find in the village of Kosharite. Specialized medical assistance you can get in Radomir and Pernik.
The located in proximity Pchelina dam is ideal place for tourism and relaxation. Here there are wonderful conditions for the people who enjoy fishing.
You can also visit the Radibosh monastery "St Troitsa" that is about 5 km from the village.
In Pernik interesting historical landmark is the medieval Krakra fortress.
