Vedrovo is a village in Sungurlare municipality, Burgas region.
It is situated 26 km northeast of Sungurlare, about 70 km northwest of Burgas, 35 km north of Karnobats and about 400 km northeast of Sofia.
It is located in the foothills of the Eastern Balkan Mountains, at an altitude of about 250 m. Potomitsa River, a tributary of the River Kamchia passes through the village. The climate is characterized by mild winters, early spring, moderate summer and warm autumn.
The population outnumbers about 90 people.
There are regular railway transport to neighboring cities and country. The nearest nursery school is located in the village of Prilep / 5 km / h. The city Sungurlare has medical center, while the nearest general hospital in Burgas.
The name of the village comes from the war with the Turks, when people used to put bacon in buckets with water is roder to make it unappropriative to drink.
The village is suitable for ecotourism, rural tourism and wine because of environmental clean air, fertile soil and its location - in the area between Burgas and Sungurlare, which is famous for its well-developed wine traditions.
In Vedrovo has two parks where can be seen jars which was found in 1958
15 km is located Kamchia dam which offers good fishing conditions.
