Town of Dimovo is a center of the municipality in the district of Vidin.

In Bulgaria there is another village which has the same name - in Smolyan municipality, Smolyan region.

It is about 33 km south of Vidin, 40 km southeast of the Kula, about 20 km northeast of Belogradchik and about 170 km northwest of Sofia.

The town is located in the Danube Plain, on the riverside of Archar, at an altitude of about 75 m

Its population numbers about 1,200 people.

Dimovo has electricity and water supply systems, sewage is partially built. In the city there are mayoralty, library with computer lab and two amateur folk songs and dances, elementary school, "St. Cyril and Methodius ", Professional School of Economics, kindergarten" Sun "and commercial sites. Medical care is covered by two general practitioners and two dentists, and the nearest hospital is located in the town of Belogradchik. There are regular rail to the country.
