Badevtsi is a village in Northern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Elena, district of Veliko Tarnovo.
It is located 20 km southwest of the town of Elena, 32 km southeast of Veliko Tarnovo city and about 252 km northeast of Sofia.
It is situated on a high hilly area facing southeast. The altitude reaches 699 m. Badevski springs are located in its land. In the 60s they are caught to supply Elena city. The village is part of the catchment area (the so-called "chasha/cup") of Yovkovtsi dam. The surroundings are very beautiful, part of the Balkan Mountains, very clean mountain air.
The population of the village is about 28 people.
There are GSM coverage, electricity and water supply systems in Badevtsi. The village has a community center. The nearest schools, kindergartens and hospitals are located in Helena.
The village offers excellent opportunities for rural and eco tourism. There are several guest houses. 13 km away is "Yovkovtsi" dam which offers fishing opportunities.
Tourists can also visit the town of Elena, Kapinovski monastery and the old capital Veliko Tarnovo.
