Village of Belo Pole

Belo Pole is a village in northwestern Bulgaria. It is located in Ruzhintsi Municipality, Vidin region.
It is located 8 km northeast of Ruzhintsi village, 58 km south of the town of Vidin, 29 km northeast of the town of Belogradchik , 37 km west of Lom and about 164 km northwest of Sofia city.
Lom river passes through the village. Its altitude is 154 meters. The climate is characterized by warm and relatively dry summer and cold winter.
The population of Belo pole numbers about 830 people.
There are town hall, library and post office (in one common building), health center, playground, primary school, kindergarten and church. The nearest hospital is located in the town of Vidin.
Landmarks and tourism opportunities:
Near the village is located Drenovets dam, which is the largest in the area. Along with the Lom River and the Danube River, which passes about 10 km, offer very good conditions for fishing.
The Belogradchik Rocks are rock formations located about 25 km away in the town of Belogradchik. They are part of a hundred tourist sites.
"Magura" cave is the largest cave in the country, which is 44 km away.
