Bolyartsi is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is part of the municipality of Kardzhali, Kardzhali Region.

In Bulgaria there are two more villages with the same name - in the municipality of Avren, Varna Region and in the municipality of Sadovo, Plovdiv Region.

The village is located at 14 km north-east of Kardzhali, about 41 km south-west of Haskovo, 100 km south-east of Plovdiv and about 276 km in the same direction of the capital Sofia city.

The population is about 150 people.

The village is situated in the Eastern Rhodope mountains at an altitude of 340 m. The relief is mountainous with oblique slopes. The climate is transitional-Mediterranean with hot summers and soft winter.

Studen kladenets Dam is situated at only 11 km of Bolyartsi.

The village has good transport connections, electricity and water supply systems.

The nearest post office, school, kindergarten, community center, GP and dentist are located in the village of Stremtsi /7 km from Bolyartsi/. General hospital you will find in Kardzhali.

"Zhenda"

The breeding farm "Zhenda" is located in the village of Bolyartsi, relatively close to the municipal center. The plot is fenced and has a nice mixed forest in it. Here are bred deers, mouflons as well as foxes, wild boars, hares, rock partridges, etc.

 "Inikler"

In the village of Stremtsi you can visit the ancient gold mines, known as the "Inikler" cave. Mine workings are cut into very strong rocks without using fasteners. They follow the ore streik, thus resembling a maze. There is a small lake at the end of the gallery. The site is easy to find, but it is not advisable to enter without a guide who knows the location of the galleries.

Perperikon

At about 2 km of the village you can see the hystoric site Perperikon - archaelogic complex comrising a big megalithic sanstuary, ancient monuments and a medieval fortress.
