Bratanitsa is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in Pazardjik Municipality, District of Pazardjik.

It stands about 12 km we st of the town of Pazardjik, about 30 km north of the town of Velingrad and about 120 km south-east of the capital of Sofia.

Regular bus transportation links the village to the surrounding settlements and the larger towns. The road on the route Pazardjik - Velingrad - Blagoevgrad passes through the village.

The relief of Bratanitsa is flat and the average altitude is 228 m.
Climate is continental, characterized with hot and sunny summers and mild winters with little snow.

The population of Bratanitsa is about 2230 residents.
Village infrastructure is settled with asphalted streets and lights, sewerage and piping, electricity and telephone lines, as well as coverage of mobile operators.
