Byaga is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in the Municipality of Bratsigovo, District of Pazardjik.

It stands about 6 km north of the town of Bratsigovo, about 21 km south of the town of Pazardjik, about 132 km from the capital of Sofia, about 9 km north-west from the town of Krichim and about 9 km away from the town of Peshtera.

Regular transport links the village with the larger towns. There also is a small railway station.

Byaga is located in the skirts of the Besaparski hills. To the South, the village is surrounded by woodland slopes, covered with oak forest The average altitude is about 374 m.
The population of the village of Byaga is about 1450 residents.
The infrastructure is settled with asphalt roads, sewerage system, plumbing system, and electrification and telephone lines.
There is a town house, church, post office, school, kindergarten, community center, shops and restaurants.
GP and a dentist serve the village residents, and the closest hospitals are in the towns of Krichim and Bratsigovo.

Attractions:

The village is assosiated with the place of Besapara, where the most violent Thracian tribe /the Bessi/ have lived.
The places of Hisara/ on the peak of Hisara there are visible traces of an ancient castle, and on the lower projection there are ruins of a sanctuary/, Elenski vrah /one of the highest points of the Besaparski hills/, Lambova cheshma, Samotno borche, Koru cheshma, Imata, Isaka and Muuvskite dalbini are among the surrounding sights, which attract tourists. 
There are three reservoirs suitable for fishing, close to the village of Byaga. Krichim reservoir is about 12 km away, Vacha reservoir is about 18 km away, and Batak reservoir is about 19 km away.
