Chereshovo is a village in Northern Bulgaria. It is part of Slivo pole Municipality, Ruse Region.

There are two more villages in Bulgaria with the same name. They are located in Belitsa Municipality, Blagoevgrad Region and Smolyan Municipality, Smolyan Region.

It is 37 km east from the centre of Ruse, 14 km in the same direction from town of Slivo pole, 95 km south-west from town of Silistra, 182 km north-west from town of Varna and 340 km north-east from city of Sofia.

Regular bus transportation serves the village.

The village spreads out the eastern part of the Danube plain, on about 125 m above the sea level. Plain relief and humid continental climate. Cold winter and dry, hot summer.

Chereshovo is with population of about 130 people. Electricity, water and communication equipment are provided. There is a town-hall, a post office, a community centre and commercial areas.

The nearest education centres and health services are in the neighbouring village of Seslav (4 km).

Landmarks and tourism 

The local orthodox church 'The Virgin Mary' was constructed in the year of 1865. 'Hristo Botev' community centre comprises a library and a singing group.

At 'Seslav' reserve you may hunt red deer, roe, wild-boar, wolf, jackal, fox and wild cat.

Danube River is about 12 km away of the settlement. The fishermen may catch sheat-fish, carp, zander, perch, northern pike, etc.
