Chernogorovo is a village in Southern Bulgaria, part of Municipality Pazardjik, District of Pazardjik.

One more settlement in Bulgaria has the same name. It is located in Municipality Dimitrovgrad, Distrisct of Haskovo.

It stands about 12 km north-west of Pazardjik and about 40 km north-west of Plovdiv.

The village population is about 2200 residents.

The relief is flat and hilly, with average altitude about 230 m.
The climate in the region is continental, characterized with mild winters and warm and dry summers.

The village is urbanized and with excellent infrastructure, including full electrification, water supply system, partial sewerage, telephone lines, Internet and cable TV.

Trakia Motorway is about 5 km away, and European route E 80 is passing through the town ofPazardjik.

There is regular transport to and from the administrative center of Pazardjik.

There is primary school, high school, kindergarten, community center and church. General Practitioners serve the residents’ medical needs. There is a network of shops and restaurants.

Attractions

The protected area Ovchite halmove (sheeps hills) is in the vicinity of the village. A whole medieval town has been discovered there during archeological digs.
According to the Regional Archeological Museum in Pazardjik, remains of Thracian ceramics and exhibits show that the castle is much older.

Luda Yana River runs through the village, and a few kilometers  away is the Dikilika reservoir, places suitable for fishing and relaxation in the nature.
