The Devil's Bridge of the River Arda - one of the monuments of the Bulgarian culture, can be visited about 20 km north of the village. The medieval bridge was built in the XVI century on the site where once a Roman bridge, part of an ancient road connecting the Aegean Sea and the Thracian lowland, was built. In 2003 the area was declared a landmark.

About 13 km north-west of the village of Garbishte, in the Karaburun area, were found traces of an ancient Thracian sanctuary and fortress which reveals spectacular views of almost the entire Central andEastern Rhodopes. There is evidence of religious activity from the late Bronze Age. The cult complex dates back to VI - IV century BC. Back then it was used for ceremonies and funerals. It represents a large rock with about 90 trapezoidal niches where pottery and tiles associated with the cult of the deceased were layed.

About 500 meters from the Thracian sanctuary in the area of the Eagle Rocks were found the ruins of one of the largest fortresses in the Rhodopes - the Kaleto fortress. The fortress represents a unique architectural site with the shape of an irregular circle with a diameter of 67 m and area of 0.5 acres built of stones without mortar.
