Gostilitsa is a village in Dryanovo municipality, Gabrovo region.

It is situated 15 km northwest of Dryanovo, 20 km north of Gabrovo, 35 km southwest of Veliko Tarnovo and about 200 km northeast of Sofia.

It is situated in Balkan Mountains, at an altitude of about 400m. 2 km from the village crosses the river Yantra. The climate is characterized by mild winters and warm summers.

The population is about 370. In Gostilitsa properties have citizens of England, Germany, France and the United Arab Emirates. There is regular bus transport to Dryanovo and neighboring settlements.

The village has a town hall, general store, church, community center with a folk band and several guest houses.There are a primary school and the nearest kindergarten is located on the territory of Dryanovo. Medical care is covered by a general practitioner and the hospital is back in the municipal center.

Every year on September 21 is held council.

  • Only 19 km from the village is Dryanovo Monastery St. Archangel Michael and Bacho Kiro. Dryanovo monastery was founded in the 12th century bastion of Bulgarian spiritual culture. Bacho Kiro Cave is located west of the monastery, just 5 minutes walk. Is formed by the waters of Dryanovo River and is a maze with a total length of the galleries around 2400 meters from here goes dryanovo green path.
  • In Gabrovo can visit the ethnographic museum ETAR. The museum is recreated numerous antique shops for traditional folk crafts. The complex features a hotel, restaurants, taverns and other establishments in the national style.
