Han Asparuhovo is a village in South Bulgaria. It is located in Stara Zagora Municipality, Stara Zagora region.

It is 23 km east from the city of Stara Zagora, about 17 km west from town of Nova Zagora, 159 km northwest from the city of Burgas and 253 southwest from the capital city Sofia.

The village is situated at the main road Stara Zagora - Sliven, the railway station in Han Asparuhovo is part of the railway line Sofia - Sliven. Regular bus and railway transport links it to Stara Zagora and Sofia.
Han Asparuhovo is located at 150 m altitude. The permanent population is about 1190 inhabitants.

The climate of the area is temperate continental, characterized with mild and dry winter, moderately hot summer. In the begging of the spring and the end of autumn there are lots of rainfalls.

Han Asparuhovo is a well developed village with town hall, church, post office, cultural palace, kindergarten, primary school. There is internet access, cable TV and coverage of all mobile operators. Medical service and competitive is covered by the local health department with a general practitioner and a dentist. The nearest general hospital in the town of Nova Zagora.

Close to the village passes Oryahovska river, a great place for outdoor recreation and fishing.

Not far from Han Asparuhovo in Stara Zagora and Nova Zagora, tourists and guests of the village can enjoy the numerous cultural and historical sites located in them.
