Hirevo is a village in northern Bulgaria, part of the Municipality Sevlievo, Gabrovo Region.
It is 40 km northwest of the town of Gabrovo and 10 km southwest of Sevlievo.
The population numbers about 170 inhabitants.
The terrain is hilly plain with an average altitude of about 380 m.
The climate in the region is temperate and is characterized by mild winters with average temperatures around -1ºC and hot dry summers with average temperatures around 24ºC.
The village is well-developed and the infrastructure including electrification, water-main, telephone, internet and cable TV.
Regular bus transport that connects it with the town of Sevlievo.
There is a community center and church. It has a network of shops and restaurants.
A general practitioner serves the population of the village.
Places on interest and tourism
The biggest attraction is Hirevo is the “Sv. Bezsrebarnitsi Cozma and Damyan” church. It was built in 1895 with volunteer labor and donations of all the villagers.
In the village there are offered places for accommodation, and convenient transport with Sevlievo and Gabrovo that give other opportunities for entertainment.
