Krapchene is a village in Northwestern Bulgaria, municipality of Montana, Montana district.

It is 9 km southeast of Montana, 29 km northwest of Berkovitsa, 32 km northwest of Vratsa and 108 km north of Sofia.

The village is located at the foot of Stara Planina Mountain at 161 m altitude. The river Shugla passes through it. The climate is temperate continental with cold winter and hot summer. The average temperature in January is -2 ° C and in July 25 ° C.

The population of Krapchene numbers around 300 people. English families have properties there.
