Marinka is a village in Burgas municipality, Burgas region.
Marinka is located 7 km south from Burgas city on the road leading to town of Malko Tarnovo and 17 km away from the International Airport in Sarafovo quarter. Town of Chernomorets is 20 km away and the town of Sozopol - one of the most preferred resorts on Black sea coast is 26 km away. The nearest beach is situated 2.5 km away in Kraymorie quarter, Burgas city.
The inhabitants in the village are about 2000 people. There are a elementary school and community centre with library. Two Orthodox churches are situated here - St. Spirit church and St. Marina chapel.
The tourist can visit all momuments of culture and landmarks in Burgas because the village is in immediate proximity to the city.
There is constructeda paintball playground that attracts the fans of this game in Marinka. The village is a point of departure for safari as well.
The holiday of the village is celebrated each year on 17th July- the day St. Marina.
Another interesting landmark is Marinka river that goes 500 m away from Marinka village and flows in Black sea. The river's mouth is a protected territory. The area of Chengene skele - which is a part from the European net Natura 2000 is situated on the land of Marinka. The rock landmark Zyapnaliyat kamak / The staring stone / is set to the west from the village.
