The village of Menenkiovo is in Southern Bulgaria, part of municipality Belovo, Pazardzhik Region.

The settlement is situated 28 km northwest direction from the town of Pazardzhik, 5 km southwest direction from the town of Belovo, 12 km northern direction from the town of Septemvri and 64 km northwest direction from the town of Plovdiv.

The population is about 1000 inhabitants.

The terrain is hilly plain with average altitude of 260 m.
The climate in the area is transcontinental and has mild winter with temperatures around 3ºС and warm summer with average temperatures around 26ºС.

The infrastructure is developed. The settlement has electricity and water installations. Asphalt road connects it with “Trakya” highway that is 4 km away.
Regular bus transport to the village and the closest railway station is in the town of Belovo.

There is a general practitioner, pharmacy, post office, cafes and shops, school, kindergarten, community center, church and a chapel in the area of “Dabeto”.

In the area the cultivation of vines, fruit trees and the breed of live-stock are popular.

Close to the settlement there is a dam appropriate for fishing.
Around 3 km away is the area of “Toplata voda” there is mineral springs in the land of the neighbor village – Malko Belovo. The temperature of the water there is about 25-26ºС. In the area of the village there is a swimming pool, motel, restaurant and cafes.

Also close is situated the town of Batak where you can go fishing, hunting and do all kind of tourism as well as winter and water sports.

Around 47 km away is the year-round mountain resort Tsigov chark set on the territory of the Western Rodopi Mountain - south-east from the picturesque Batak Dam. Batak Dam waters offer unforgettable moments for fishing and water sports. Many chalets and hotels are at your service in the area if you want to relax in the beauty and fresh air of Rodopi Mountain.
