Mihaltsi village is located in Pavlikeni Municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region.
It is situated 30 km from Veliko Tarnovo, 11 km from Pavlikeni, 15 km from the main road Sofia-Varna and 35 km from the airport in Gorna Oryahovitsa.
This is one of the largest villages in Veliko Tarnovo area with population of about 1200 inhabitants.
Here are developed grain, viticulture and animal husbandry. In the past few years it has increased the number of permanent and orchards.
Negovantsa Eco path is the first one in Bulgaria. It is a part of the Ecozone "Sredna Yantra. It is suitable for practicing extreme sports and for walks. The foundation starts from the village of Emmen. There is situated also Emen cave.
From there, views of the canyon of the river Negovanka are revealed in which a unique wooden bridges and facilities across the river crossing.
There is the waterfall "Momin skok" with a height of 10 m. Below it formed a beautiful pool, which is often used as beach.
There are many suitable places for picnics, walks and fishing.
The village has a church (Holy Virgin Mary), town hall, shops, primary school and community center.
Roads in Mihaltsi are third class, but is located near Highway E-772 (Sofia-Varna) and Veliko Turnovo, which makes it a convenient place.
