Mochure is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Rudozem  Municipality, Smolyan region.

It is about 18 km southwest from the town of Rudozem, nearly 45 km south from the town of Smolyan, 32 km southwest from the town of Madan and 291 km southeast from the city of Sofia.

Located in the southern Rhodope Mountains at 1099 m altitude. The climate is temperate-continental. It is characterized by soft, long winters and cool summers.

The permanent population is about 40 people.

The village has a shop. In the village of Plovdivtsi /6 km northeast/ there is a town hall, a kindergarten, primary school, community center, mosque, shops and pubs.
Medical center you will find in the town of Rudozem there are also schools. The nearest hospital is located in the town of Madan.

Tourism and landmarks

Above Plovdivtsi village is the monastery "St. Elena" (formerly known as "Saint Irene").

Eco Trail Plovdivtsi, starting from the "Domuzola" in the village and has a length of 7000 m, it reaches Dam Plovdivtsi.

Medieval fortress "Koznik". This interesting fort is situated on a cliff above the town of Rudozem. It can be reached by Eco trail "Kechi Kaya" - "Koznik". The castle is part of the whole system of fortresses. There were found many pieces of pottery from different eras and ancient Roman temple.

In the town of Madan, you can visit: Cave Museum "Sharenka", area Gabata- a small rock cave, rock "Rimpapa" area Kichikaya.
