Negovanovtsi is a village in northwestern Bulgaria, Municipality of Novo Selo, Vidin region.

It is located 12 km north of the town of Vidin, 12 km southeast of the municipal center of Novo Selo and 208 km northwest of Sofia.

The terrain is hilly and the climate is temperate-continental. The average altitude is 85 m.

Negovanovtsi population of the village is about 670 people.

2 km away from the village passes the Danube river, suitable for fishing and water sports.

There was a high school and kindergarten in the village, but they were closed. Children can be educated in Novo Selo and Vidin. Residents can rely on a general practitioner and a dentist.

Negovanovtsi has a town hall, community center, church and shops.

Landmarks and tourism:

There are excavations of mound in the village, used twice as a necropolis during the Roman era and the Bulgarian middle ages.

There are monuments of the fallen in the wars in the village.

In Vidin attractive for tourists are: the Baba Vida fortress, dating from the 10th century and related to the defense of the city during the Middle Ages, the Kaleto fortress, the Cruciform barracks with ethnographic exhibition, the Turkish Konak Koluka, the Mosque and the library of Osman Pazvantaglu, the cathedral Sveti Dimitar, the Mausoleum of the first Bulgarian Exarch Antim I and others.
