Odartzi is a village in north-eastern Bulgaria part of Dobrichka municipality, Dobrich region. It is located 46 km away from the city of Varna, 21 km away from the town of Dobrich, 20 km away from the town of Balchik and 20 km away from Albena resort.

The population numbers to over 700 people. Altitude - 254 m. The relief is hilly and the climate is temperate-continental characterized by a snowy winter, a warm spring, a hot summer and a sunny fall.

In the village there is a mayor's office, a community center with a library, a kindergarten, grocery shops, a post office, a doctor's office, a bar, a small park with a children's playground. The village is supplied with water and electricity. Regular public transportation connects the village to the town of Dobrich and the nearby villages.All modern communications are available: telephone, internet, cable TV and coverage of all mobile operators. The village is located in an ecologically clean area, surrounded by greenery and flowers. The climate provides excellent conditions for growing fruits, vegetables, grain and oil-yielding cultures. The locals are engaged into farming and stock-breeding. Many of them are commuting to their work-places in Dobrich or Albena resort.

cultural and natural landmarks

• Kaleto is a medieval settlement built over an old Byzantine fortress in Kaleto area near Odartzi. It was dated back to the time of the First Bulgarian State and has been fully researched.
• "Chernata Dupka" ("the black hole" in Bulgarian) cave with a total lenght of 26 m.
• Buzluka area - offers wonderful conditions for organizing hikes and picnics among a beautiful forest. Located in the area is the so called "Batovska pateka " (Batovska path) where special spots are designed where fire could be made.
