Ostrov is a village in the municipality of Oryahovo, Vratsa District.

It is situated 19 km southeast of Oryahovo, 92 km northeast of Vratsa and about 190 km in the same direction from the capital Sofia.

It is located in the Danube valley, on the banks of the Danube. The altitude is 181 meters. The climate is characterized by warm summers and cold winters.

The population is about 1,580 people. There is regular bus transport to Oryahovo.
