Panagyurski kolonii is a village and resort in Southern Bulgaria, part of municipality Panagyurishte, Pazardzhik Region.

It is situated 55 km north direction from the town of Pazardzhik, 15 km north direction from the town of Panagyurishte, 23 km from the town of Septemvri and 50 km from the town of Plovdiv.

The population is about 380 inhabitants.

The terrain is mountainous with average altitude of 1050 m.
The climate is transcontinental. In the winter it is snowy buy mild and average temperatures of -1ºС. The summer is sunny and cool with temperatures around 20ºС.

The infrastructure is well-developed. The settlement has electricity, water and in most parts sewerage installations. Also there is cable TV.
Asphalt roads leads to highway “Trakya” and the main road Sofia-Burgas.
There is regular bus transport that connects it with the town of Panagyurishte.

A general practitioner serves the needs of the inhabitants; there are shops, cafes, kindergarten and church. The community center is under construction as well as the construction of a school camps.

Places of interest and tourism:

In the area of the village there is a dam for fishing (“Zhekov vir” dam – around 20 km, close to the town of Pirdop).
The beautiful nature, beech forests and meadows as well as the closeness to Bratia Hill attracts many public figures and people of culture that build their private villas and holiday homes here.
The magnificent Stara Planina Mountain combined with the several historical towns in the area as Panagyurishte, Klisura and Koprivshtitsa make it attractive for visitors.
