Panitsovo is a village in Southeastern Bulgaria. It is situated in Nessebar municipality, Bourgas region.

It is situated 21 km west of the city of Obzor, 32 km northwest of the Sunny Beach resort, 37 km northwest of city of Nessebar and about 50 km northeast of the industrial city of Bourgas.

The population of the village is about 109 people. It constantly decreases since the 50s of XX century, despite being located not far away from the beach. Its altitude is 299 m.

The village doesn't offer educational and medical services. Residents can rely on a primary school, kindergarten, dentists and general practitioners in the nearest town Obzor.
 
Panitsovo village is situated in a mountain area. One of the Bulgarian mountain passes- Dyulinski passes through the village, it is alternative way to Varna. There is a wonderful view of Obzor city.

The village was named after Major Kosta Atanasov Panitsa (1857-1890), who stayed a few days in the village, made a donation and took a poor boy to study in Sofia city. There is a stone fountain in the village, dedicated to Major Panitsa.
 
A road which passes through the village was once the only and most direct link between Bourgas and Varna city.

Tourism and Landmarks: 

An old Roman road passed through Panitsovo.

There is a barrier trench with brick wall called Germeto south of the village. It has fragments of ceramics and traces of constructions, damaged and obliterated due to a working quarry for extraction of stones in the same place.

А monastery (chapel) "Sveti Konstantin i Elena" was built  in 2004.
