Pushevo is a village in Veliko Tarnovo municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region.

It is located 15 km southwest of Veliko Tarnovo, 16 km north of Dryanovo and about 215 km northeast of Sofia. 4 km from the village the main road Sofia - Varna.

It is situated at an altitude of 326 meters on the Yantra River. The climate is characterized by mild winters and cool summers.

The population is about 110 people. There is regular bus transport to Veliko Tarnovo.

In Pushevo there are a town hall, grocery stores and a guest house. Nearest primary school and kindergarten located in the village Balvan / 8 km /. Hospitals operate on the territory of Veliko Tarnovo.

 
Landmarks:


The village is known as the only one with the wild forest of cacti. Other interesting places in the region are:

• Temple "The Annunciation" and the first monument to Cyril and Methodius in the village Kereka / 5 km /;
• In the village Ledenik / 8 km /  is located Shemshi Bay Tower. It is the tallest residential building in the Balkans, built entirely of stone. There is a museum, which is divided into three floors, where are ethnographic exhibition and household items;
• Just 20 km away Dryanovo Monastery "St. Archangel Michael" the cave "Bacho Kiro". Dryanovo Monastery, founded in the 12th century, is a bastion of the Bulgarian spiritual culture. Bacho Kiro cave is located west of the monastery, only 5 minutes walk. Formed by the waters of the river and Dryanovska maze with a total length of approximately 2,400 m long galleries.
