Ravnetz is a village in north-eastern Bulgaria, part of General Toshevo municipality, Dobrich region. It is located 34 km  away from  the sea-coast, 24 km away from the town of Dobrich and only 4 km away from the municipal center General Toshevo. The population numbers to 253 people. Altitude - 210 m. The climate is temperate-continental and is characterized by a hot summer and a winter with plenty of snowfall. The former name of the village used to be Piri Fakah - named after  a local notable. There are two theories about the present name of the village. As per the first one it was named Ravnetz (meaning "plain" in Bulgarian) due to the exceptionally flat area where the village is situated. According to the other theory the village was named after the medicinal herb yarrow (or ravnetz in Bulgarian) of which there is plenty in the area.
In the village there are two food-shops, a cafe, a railway station, a pine grove planted and maintained by the locals. Near the village there is a petrol-station.
No industrial production is available in the area. The nature surrounding the village ecologically clean and very beautiful. The locals are predominantly engaged into farming and stock-breeding. The infrastructure is well-organized. Regular electricity and water-supply are available. Transportation is available on a regular basis to the towns of Dobrich and General Toshevo and the nearby villages
