The village of Rosen is located in Burgas region and is one of the most prefered places for calm and peaceful living in the Bulgarian unspoiled countryside. The hamlet is surrounded by beautiful woody hills, it is set on the riverside of Rosen river which is the biggest feeder of the famous Ropotamo river.

Location:

The village of Rosen is situated 5 km from the Black Sea, 15 km from the city of Burgas, 15 km from the ancient town of Sozopol, 26km from the town of Primorsko and 20km from the town of Kiten. The capital Sofia is within 481 km from the village. The high-speed highway that links Rosen with Burgas and Sozopol allows to reach the cities in a 10 minute drive by car, also there is regular bus traffic.
The village of Rosen provides all the main services- a medical centre, a school, a kindergaten, a post office, several shops and cafes, regular bus transport to Burgas.

Tourism opportunities:

Thanks to the convenient location and marvellous nature the surroundings of the village of Rosen have become popular and prestige place for building holiday and private houses. Near the Rosen village in the area of 350 hectares it is planned to build a modern, the largest in Bulgaria village of private houses for 10 000 inhabitants. Also there will be a modern hospital, entertainment places, cafes and restaurants. It is planned to build a golf-course nearby in area of 750 decares. The project will be finished in 2010 so the village will become a golf destination for tourists.
The region is ecologically clean with amazing mountain panorama. In a proximity there is a stream with marvelous scenery to the village and the mountain. The harmony of water basins and mountain offers opportunities for hunting and fishing.

Places of interest:

The only monastery school in the Sozopol manucipality is located in the village which gives a great opportunity to learn more about the Bulgarian history. On 24th May an annual fair takes place here and attracts many bulgarian and foreign tourist in the village.
