Selanovtsi is a village in the municipality Oryahovo, Vratsa District. 
  
It is situated 7 km south-east of Oryahovo, 80 km north-east of Vratsa, 25 km north of Byala slatina and 25 km north-west of Knezha. 
  
Selanovtsi is located in the Danube valley, just 8 km south of the Danube river. The climate is characterized by warm summers and cold winters. 
  
The village is one of the largest in northwestern Bulgaria, with a population of about 3800 people. Regular bus transportation connects it with the municipal center Oryahovo and other settlements in the region. 
  
Selanovtsi comprises with shops and restaurants, an elementary school, unified child institution, community center, two GPs and a dentist. The nearest hospital is located in Oryahovo.

In the settlement were discovered remains of Thracian settlements and artifacts from the ancient time, which today can be seen in the museum in Oryahovo. 
  
In Selanovtsi has built monuments devoted to the dead in anti-fascist, First World and the Balkan wars. 
  
Nearby is the "Swamp" area, which is a nature reserve. Here are found the protected species marsh snowdrop and water lily.
