Only 10 km in the north-east is located the Rock Tomb - sanctuary, situated near the village of Rogach. The archaeological site is located on the right bank of the River Krumovitsa. The place is known as Guyo (or Kuyo) and is revered by local people as sacred. There are two small deep holes on the cliffs. A lot of sites of importance for the historical and cultural heritage of the region can be visited in Krumovgrad. Themedieval nave church in the central part of Krumovgrad is particularly interesting. The church was built by monumental stones soldered with plaster.

The mosque "Seytlyar dzhamisi" is also an interesting site. The mosque was built in 1855 on the foundations of an old wooden mosque from XVI - XVIII century and is believed to be one of the main reasons for the existence of the town and surrounding villages.

A museum collection, including over 2000 exhibits, divided into departments Archaeology, History and Ethnography, is located in a house , declared to be a cultural monument.

The most significant event in the region which attracts not only people from the surrounding villages but also a lot of tourists is the traditional culture fest "The lights of Krumovgrad", held annually on the eve of 24th May.
