Vartop is a village in Northwestern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Vidin, Vidin region.
It is located 30 km southwest of the town of Vidin, 36 km northeast of Belogradchik and about 190 km northwest of Sofia.
The village is situated above the canyon of Archar river, 3 km from the main road E-79 Sofia - Vidin, Danube river is located 12 km away. The average altitude is 209 m, the climate is characterized by cold winters and hot, dry summers.
The population of the village numbers about 74 people.
Vartop has regular transport to the town of Vidin.
The village has a fully built electricity, water supply systems and mobile coverage. There are town hall, church and farm yard in the village. The nearest school and hospital are located in the town of Vidin.
