Velikovo is a village in South Bulgaria. It is located in Galabovo municipality, Stara Zagora region.

There is another village with the same name in Dobrich region.

Velikovo is situated 12 km northwest from the town of Galabovo, around 34 km southwest from the town of Radnevo, around 38 km southeast from the town of Stara Zagora and 247 km northeast from the capital Sofia.
The village has regular bus and railway transport.

It has 150 m altitude as the terrain is mostly flat. The permanent population is only around 60 inhabitants.

The climate is humid continental with Mediterranean influence. Summer is characterized with great heat and winter is mild and short.

Wheat, barley, sunflower, corn, cotton, tobacco and vegetables in smaller quantities are planted in the region.

There is a grocery store and a pub in Velikovo. All mobile operators have coverage. The closest health and education institutions are located in the town of Galabovo.

In Galabovo the village visitors can go to the Art Gallery, the Municipal House of Culture, the church "St. Ivan Rilski" built in 1897.
An interesting place for resting and walking is the nearby dam "Rozov kladenets" /"Pink Well"/. The place is inhabited by rare birds and the dam is proposed for inclusion in the network of protected areas of NATURA 2000.
