The village of Vezenkovo

Vezenkovo is a village in Southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in municipality of Sungurlare, Burgas region.

The village stands about 8 km west from the village of Manolich, about 17 km northwest from the town of Sungurlare, about 90 km in the same direction from the town of Burgas and about 360 km east from Sofia.

Regular bus transport connects the village with the neighboring villages and towns.

Located on the south slopes of East Stara Planina, with altitude about 550 m.
The climate of the region is humid subtropical, with Black sea and continental influence. The summer and the autumn are typical for The Mediterranian climate - long and dry. 

Two kilometers from the village passes the river of Luda Kamchia. Possible catch: European chub, Common rudd, Rainbow trout,  bleak,  barbel, catfish, carp and pike.
Close to the village are old-growth forests - beech, oak, hornbeam.

The population is about 440 people.

In this area are developed tobacco production, viticulture and farming.
In the village are the building of town hall, post office, a shop with confectionery, cultural center. Children of the village study in the town of Sungurlare, where is the nearest hospital. 

Tourism and sights

 Remains of two ancient fortress are there . 

Because of its location, the closeness to Black sea, the village offers good conditions for hunt, fishing, excursions to Zheravna, Kotel, Sungurlare or Black sea resorts.
In the village and its surroundings you can find many guest houses, which are in traditional Bulgarian style.
