Voynitsa is a village in northwestern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Vidin, Vidin region.
It is about 16 km southwest of Vidin city and the same distance northeast of the town of Kula. The distance to Sofia city is 208 km.
The climate is characterized by cold and windy winter, while summer is hot. The average altitude is 208 m.
The population numbers about 92 people.
There is a regular bus service to and from the town of Vidin.
Voynitsa has mini market, town hall, mobile coverage. The nearest school, kindergarten and hospital are located in the town of Vidin.
The main road Vidin - Kula passes through the village.
The name of the village comes from the word "voyno" - a young man, husband.
