The famous rock formation Belintash, which is protected natural site, is located 1255 m above sea level. The area is with scientific, cultural and aesthetic value. It contains fascinating rock formations, caves, springs, ancient forests.
Archaeological studies are about to prove that the sanctuary is from the Copper Age, ie Fifth millennia BC, making it older than Perperikon. The place is considered a center of Bessi and Thracian deity Sabazios.
There is a 360 ° view from above of this part of the Rhodopes. Local flora and fauna is rich, varied and interesting.

The area of Karadjov Rock is protected territory. The famous rock is with length about 400 m, and its highest point is at 20 m. The place can be reached for about an hour and a half by foot, starting from Krastova Gora in Direction Ayazmoto. Here is the habitat of rare species such as black stork, golden eagle, peregrine falcon, alpine swift, wild goat, wild cat and others.

Krastova Gora is at 1545 m above sea level and is located about 70 km away from the village of Vrata and about 40 km away from Asenovgrad. The meadow is 500 m long and 300 m wide. In this region, scientists are looking for the famous Dionysus shrine rivaling the time of the Delphic oracle. According to others, the undeniable curative effects of Cross Forestis are due to gamma - ray bursts coming from uranium deposits in the bosom of the Rhodopes.

Recently the village of Vrata has become a popular tourist destination for different kind of activities, which is why in the village are being built new hotels, offering contemporary conditions, combined with traditional ambiance and cuisine.
