Yanovo is a village in southwestern Bulgaria. It is located in Sandanski Municipality, Blagoevgrad region.
The village is located 52 km southwest from the town of Gotse Delchev, 30 km southeast from the city of Sandanski, 17 km northeast from the village border check point - Kulata, approximately 91 km southeast from the city of Blagoevgrad, and 185 south from the city of Sofia.
Yanovo is located at an altitude of 433 meters at the foot of Mount Egyuptin. The old part of the village is situated on a steep south-facing slope. In the valley passes small river Petrovska. Center and new houses are located in north direction on a flat terrain, where passes an asphalt road between the larger villages Katuntsi and Petrovo.
The climate is transitional-Mediterranean with hot summer and mild winter.
The permanent population is about 165 inhabitants. Yanovo is well developed, electricity, water supply, with established networks.
The village has a church and a temple. The closest school is in the village Katuntsi, the nearest general hospital is in the city of Sandanski.

Guests can visit the village and the town of Melnik - the smallest town in Bulgaria and Rozhen Monastery - the largest monastery in the Pirin Mountains.
