Yantra is a village in Dryanovo municipality, Gabrovo region.

In Bulgaria there is another village which has the same name - in Gorna Oryahovitsa municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region.

It is located 14 km west of Dryanovo, 20 km north of Gabrovo, 39 km southwest of Veliko Tarnovo and about 200 km northeast of Sofia.

The village is situated at the foot of Stara Planina, on the banks of the Yantra River.The altitude is about 50 m. The climate is characterized by warm summers and cold winters.
The population numbers about 160 people. There are several families of England in Yantra.

There are a shop, railway station and church. There are daily shuttle to Sevlievo, Dryanovo, Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo. Nearest school and health facilities are located in the municipal Dryanovo.

GUESTS OF the village can visit the following attractions in the area:

• Only 18 km from the village is located Dryanovo Monastery "St. Archangel Michael" and "Bacho Kiro" cave. Dryanovo monastery was founded in the 12th century and was bastion of Bulgarian spiritual culture. Bacho Kiro cave is located west of the monastery, just 5 minutes away walking distance. It was formed by the waters of the river Dryanovska and it is a maze with a total length of the galleries around 2400 m. Here passes Dryanovo green path.
• Tourists in Gabrovo can visit the Ethnographic Museum "Etar". The museum is recreated numerous antique shops for traditional folk crafts. The complex features a hotel, restaurants, taverns and other establishments in the national style.
• About 30 km from the village of Yantra is located dam "Alexander Stamboliyski" which with its length of 18 km provides all opportunities for sailing, rowing and water sports, fishing and beach.
