Yunatsite is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is in Pazardjik Municipality, District of Pazardjik.

It stands about 10 km north-west of the town of Pazardjik and about 100 km south-east of the capital of Sofia.

Trakia Motorway is about 5 km north of the village.
Regular bus service connects the village with the town of Pazardjik.

Yunatsite is with flat relief and is disposed at the southern bank of the river Topolnitsa, at an average altitude of 218 m.
Climate in the region is continental, with mild winter and hot and dry summer.

The population of the village of Yunatsite is about 1463 residents.

The village infrastructure is settled with partly asphalted streets and lights, telephone lines and coverage of mobile operators.
There is a town house, church, post office, primary school, kindergarten, shops, restaurants and pharmacy.

Medical services in the village are provided by GP and a dentist. The closest hospital and high schools are in the town of Pazardjik.

Attractions

Some unique archeological discoveries have been made on the territory around the village, and transformed it into an attractive tourist site of significance.

The settlement mound in the village Yunatsite known as "The flat mound" is the largest in western Bulgaria. It is located on the terrace of one arm of the old river bed Topolnitsa. In the areasincef ​ ancient times passes Euro-Asian  main road from southeast to northwest, connecting the Aegean-Anatolian region of the Balkans and Central Europe.
The resulting earliest city in Europe, called by archaeologists protograd (prototype of the modern city) dates to the mid 5 th century BC, which means that the village is 2,000 years older than the cities, known in Europe. They existed 2400-2000 BC.
In the settlement probably lived about 2000-2500 people. The territory  populated was approximately 300 by 500-600 meters. It's a huge space, about 1,000 acres, mound occupies one tenth of the total territory of the settlement.
 
There as well, was found the oldest fridge. Even 6000 years ago in mounds have been preserved meat - evidenced by pits, dug more than a meter into the ground. They were sealed with clay pottery plaster. Inside,the  ancient refrigerators were coated with a special waterproof clay, preserving a storage temperature of the meat.
