Bozhurovo is a village in Northeastern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Dobrich, Dobrich region. It is 72 km north of Varna, 22 km northwest of the town of Dobrich, 50 km from Balchik. Nearby is the airport of Varna, only 210 km from the border with Romania is Bucharest International Airport, and some of the most - popular Bulgarian resorts Golden Sands, St. Constantine and Elena resort, Albena.
The climate is temperate continental and is characterizedby a cold winter, a cool spring, a hot summer and a colourful autumn. The terrain is flat and extremely favorable for the development of modern agriculture and other activities. The population numbers to approximately 1100 people.
The village has a well developed infrastructure - the roads are in a good condition, the village is supplied with water and electricity on a regular basis. In the village there is a secondary school, a community center, a recently renovated kindergarten, an Orthodox church /built with voluntary donations from the inhabitants of the village both Christians and Muslims/, a mosque, a small park, a doctor'soffice and several private enterprises.
The nature surrounding the village is very beautiful - large forests are alternating with vast fertile feilds. The area offers conditions for rural tourism, hunting and photo safari.
The main occupation of the locals are the plant-growing, the stock-breeding and the bee-keeping.
