The inhabitancy of the village is with Macedonian origin. It is represented by settlers by the village Chuipetlyovo /Pernik district/, which is located on the southern slope of Vitosha Mountain. The village used to be a Turkish farm. In summer the peasants used to work there. The main means of living was the sheep breading. The Turkish farm comprised nice pastures, which forced the peasants to move into this place. The landowner sold its farm and moved from the village with its fellow-countrymen.
