Konstantinovo is a village in North-Eastern Bulgaria, part of Varna municipality, Varna region. It is located 10 km away from the regional and municipal center of Varna, 1 km away from the Varna Lake and 11 km away from the sea-coast.

The climate is temperate-continental, influenced by the proximity to the Black Sea - the summer is cool, the autumn - warm, the winter - mild and the spring - sunny. The relief is flat-hilly. The population of Konstantinovo numbers to approximately 1 300 people. Altitude - 117 m. The former name of the village used to be Dere Kyoy.

Konstantinovo is one of the large villages in the region. Although the official number of its inhabitants is 1 300 people, the actual number of people living there permanently is over 2 000. Currently, Konstantinovo is one of the most attractive villages in Varna municipality due to its proximity to the city of Varna, the favourable climate, the clear air and the well-maintained road.
In the village there is a secondary school, a kindergarten, an Orthodox church, a community center with a rich library, many shops, cafes, a restaurant, a medical center, a dentist's, a post-office, a mayoralty, two sports and two children's playgrounds, a beautiful park etc.
The roads are in a good condition. The village is supplied with water and electricity on a regular basis. In Konstantinovo there are also 5 water fountains and over 50 wells. A sewerage and a water-purification system are about to be built. Regular bus transportation connects the village to the city of Varna. The village's inhabitants have access to all modern communications - internet, telephone, satellite TV, coverage of all mobile operators. Ten properties in the village have been purchased by foreigners.

economics

There are several private enterprises in Konstantinovo - a meat processing department, a greenhouse for growing of flowers and a stable where racing horses are bred. A project has been developed for the construction of a yacht port in Chaira area, on the bank of Varna Lake which, along with the planned construction of a golf-course on the territory of the village will turn Konstantinovo into a really attractive destination.
The main occupation of the locals has always been vine-growing and wine making. Over 300 000 sq. m of vineyards are present on the territory of the village and the people of Konstantinovo  are known to be experts in the production of high-quality wines.
The attractive location, the beautiful nature, fertile land and the promising development prospectives are all excellent conditions for long-term investments.
